Boundary Dispute
POSTED AT THE MANOR GATE To all householders of Middle Woe,
The Office of the Reeve regrets to announce that the ongoing boundary dispute between Mrs Dorcas Wattle and Mr Pottle remains unresolved.
Accordingly, the hedge in question shall remain entirely untrimmed until such time as both parties may once again be trusted in the vicinity of gardening implements.
Mr Pottle's beard continues to recover.
The Office considers this encouraging.
Parishioners are reminded that trimming another person's hedge without permission is strongly discouraged.
Trimming another person's beard is prohibited altogether.
