The Village of Middle Woe

Middle Woe Pinfold

Good morrow Parishioners,

The village Pinfold at the corner of Mill Lane is once again at capacity.

Residents are reminded that stray animals may be reclaimed upon payment of the standard release fee, payable in turnips, coin, or an unconvincing explanation.

Current occupants include: a sheep (ownership disputed), one pig (ownership denied by all parties), a random hen, and a goose which appears to have checked itself in voluntarily and shows no intention of leaving.

The Council reminds parishioners that attempting to retrieve animals without payment constitutes theft. Attempting to retrieve animals by climbing over the wall constitutes both theft and poor judgement. Mr Wattle is asked to reflect on this.

The pinfold does not accept geese as payment for other geese.

Respectfully yours, Middle Woe Parish Council
