The Blacksmith, The Barrel, and The Question of The Goose
Good morrow Parishioners,
Roger Blackthorn, the village blacksmith, has claimed sanctuary at St Cuthbert's church in Middle Woe following an incident involving a barrel of ale and a disputed pig.
The Parish Council wishes to remind parishioners that the 40 day sanctuary period does not excuse Mr Blackthorn from his outstanding turnip debt.
The goose is not eligible for sanctuary, however this matter is still under review, by the goose.
