The Drunken Goose is Middle Woe’s village alehouse and the unofficial centre of village life. Ale is available. It is not watered down, despite rumours to the contrary.
Half of a wall is currently missing following unfortunate structural damage sustained during last year’s Tug-of-War. Mr Maltspigot maintains that the building was already leaning beforehand and that no further questions are necessary.
The alehouse serves as the primary source of village news, village gossip, and village misinformation, often simultaneously.
Mr Maltspigot wishes it to be known that he is never responsible for anything, ever. This statement has been repeated so often that many villagers now consider it suspicious.
