Turnip Rolling Competition
Let it be known that the annual turnip rolling competition has been banned from Church Hill following last year’s unfortunate incident, in which the winning turnip reached Lower Woe before the runners did.
Complaints from Lower Woe regarding “unsolicited root vegetables damaging property” are currently being investigated. Regrettably, the prime suspect has since been peeled, boiled and served with yesterday’s bread.
Thomas Clodwell has asked it be noted that he was simply pointing at the turnip and was absolutely not, in any way, shape or form, physically encouraging it down the hill.
