NOTICE.
Certain persons have suggested that gossiping is unbecoming of respectable villagers.
This is plainly nonsense.
Conversation concerning the behaviour of others remains entirely acceptable, provided it is:
Accurate. Informative. Entertaining. Or concerns Brother Geoffrey.
Should Brother Geoffrey object, he is perfectly welcome to stop providing material.
Furthermore, if people conducted themselves properly, there would be considerably less to discuss.
I shall continue making every reasonable effort to keep the village informed.
